Sales Engineer [Valves]

Job Summary:
An opportunity for a sales professional to drive business growth by managing customer relationships, sales operations, and order fulfilment in a technical sales environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities and implement effective sales planning strategies.
  • Expand and manage the customer base while monitoring overall sales performance.
  • Handle customer and distributor enquiries via phone, email, or fax.
  • Prepare quotations, process sales orders, and manage related sales documentation.
  • Follow up on pending quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and support deal closures.
  • Monitor orders and coordinate with the factory on order status and timelines.
  • Coordinate and monitor shipment and delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Conduct customer visits when required.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering or A-Level qualification; relevant sales experience is an added advantage.
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, and results-oriented with good communication skills.
  • Strong team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • PC literate with working knowledge of standard office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business needs.
