Job Summary:
A senior liaison role bridging Japanese clients and management, empowered to represent leadership and ensure smooth, compliant daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese clients, ensuring timely, clear, and professional communication.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients, Head Office, and internal management and employees.
- Coordinate with external partners such as legal, accounting, and human resource firms to support business operations.
- Attend on-site and off-site client meetings to represent the company and address business needs.
- Review and approve operational and financial transactions within delegated authority to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Review, endorse, and sign documents on behalf of management to support operational efficiency.
- Exercise sound operational and commercial judgment when representing the Managing Director.
- Support cross-departmental alignment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and workflow.
- Lead, manage, and guide team members by setting accountability standards and monitoring performance against objectives.
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate IT knowledge to understand IT-related discussions and business contexts.
- Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team to drive performance and accountability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with employees, clients, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential matters and make independent, sound decisions with professionalism and integrity.
