Senior Occupational Therapist [Up To $6,000!]

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver occupational therapy interventions for referred patients independently
• Implement individualised treatment plans in accordance with established clinical standards
• Review and manage patients across the continuum of care in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation and patient records
• Supervise and support junior occupational therapists where applicable
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Participate in administrative duties including billing and statistics collation
• Support clinical and service development initiatives
• Assist in clinical education and supervision of occupational therapy students
• Contribute to departmental training programmes and hospital-wide educational talks

Requirements

• Recognised Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
• No experience is required
• Interest in Geriatrics, Neurology, Orthopaedics (including hand therapy) and/or Palliative Care; experience in these areas is an added advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
