Job Summary:
Join a well‑established global reinsurance platform supporting complex non‑life treaty renewals across international markets. This role offers deep exposure to treaty underwriting operations, catastrophe modelling, Head Office reporting, and end‑to‑end renewal execution. You will work closely with underwriters, brokers, and global stakeholders, playing a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, contract certainty, and seamless renewal delivery. Responsibilities:

  • Support the Underwriting Manager during renewal periods through pre‑underwriting and post‑binding activities.
  • Review slips and wordings, extract renewal statistics at treaty and client levels, and raise queries with brokers or cedants where required.
  • Input renewal data into pricing tools, including Nat Cat modelling, and update renewal checklists and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare draft slips, manage internal referrals where required, and coordinate execution and return of signed slips.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation, ensuring proper e‑filing and hardcopy filing of all renewal‑related records.
  • Input final bound terms into underwriting systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Produce and submit periodic reports to Head Office, including quarterly renewal reporting and Nat Cat updates.
  • Run and maintain Business Object reports on a monthly and quarterly basis and archive outputs appropriately.
  • Manage outstanding wording follow‑ups with brokers and clients.
  • Perform quarterly revisions of Estimated Premium Income (EPI) for prior underwriting years.
  • Track and update contract certainty metrics on a quarterly basis.
  • Conduct twice‑yearly AML checks and support annual physical document housekeeping.
  • Handle additional underwriting‑related tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in non‑life treaty (re)insurance underwriting and/or pricing.
  • Knowledge of catastrophe modelling tools and pricing concepts is an added advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data input, underwriting analysis, and documentation review.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining consistency, quality, and compliance with processes.
  • Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability for work delivered.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well as a team player in a fast‑paced environment.
