Responsibilities: 

  • Operate and maintain 6.6kV and 22kV high-voltage distribution network equipment, systems, and apparatus under the direction of the Authorised Person (AP).
  • Receive, verify, and execute operational and switching instructions in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols during all switching activities.
  • Support project and operational requirements as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering.
  • No experience required, however candidates with minimum 3 years’ experience as Switching Personnel for 6.6kV/22kV switchgear will be at an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting high-voltage distribution projects is an added advantage.
  • Strong flexibility and adaptability to meet project timelines and operational demands.
  • Own personal vehicle required to attend site meetings.
  • Completion and passing of relevant Operation Personnel training courses is an added advantage.
