Maintenance Engineer (Chemical Plant)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead supervisors and contractors to execute plant maintenance and civil repair works safely and on schedule.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations to provide engineering support and implement plant modification works.
  • Conduct engineering studies, cost estimation, and execution of plant and project works to enhance plant performance and reliability.
  • Provide engineering support for plant troubleshooting and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to prepare tender documents, perform technical evaluations, and support contractor selection for major engineering works.
  • Update and maintain engineering as-built drawings and technical specifications.
  • Support compliance with SS 651, ISO 45001, HAZOP, and Safety Case requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in a chemical plant environment
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering
