Passenger Sales & Marketing Officer

Job Summary:
An opportunity to drive sales growth and brand presence through strategic account management and market-focused sales initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales revenue growth by managing new and existing accounts across multiple sales channels, including online platforms.
  • Formulate and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with company policies and market direction.
  • Understand assigned accounts’ travel policies and requirements, provide customised solutions, negotiate agreements, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor sales performance and forecasts using data, reports, and market intelligence, and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Collaborate with Joint Venture partners on corporate pricing proposals, Time of Ticketing (TOT) programmes, and joint business initiatives.
  • Support promotional and marketing projects and campaigns as required.
  • Analyse large volumes of sales data and convert them into insightful reports for team evaluation and decision-making.
  • Prepare and manage regular performance, marketing effectiveness, and project status reports.
  • Provide market insights on trends and growth potential to support continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and negotiate sales and marketing strategies with regional headquarters.
  • Represent the company at industry events and business functions.
  • Perform administrative support related to sales and marketing operations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and marketing within the airline or travel industry.
  • Knowledge of air fares and ticketing is an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong analytical skills with creative problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and coordination skills to work with diverse stakeholders across cultures.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Well-organised with strong prioritisation and time-management skills.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to industry changes.
  • Meticulous with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
