Job Summary

An exciting opportunity for a technical sales professional to drive business growth by managing key accounts and developing new opportunities in the polymers and chemicals sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and growth targets.
  • Manage and develop relationships with assigned clients to ensure long-term partnership and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation and account expansion.
  • Conduct technical discussions and deliver product presentations to customers, including procurement and R&D teams.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, technical, and finance to ensure timely delivery, service support, and prompt payment collection.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, and provide insights to management.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.

Requirements:

  • Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • At least two years of sales experience within the plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of polymer materials and their industrial applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of sustainable or specialty polymers is an added advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills are an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and industry-related events.
