Senior Sales Executive (FMCG)

Job Summary:
Drive business growth by managing key retail accounts through strategic planning, data-driven insights, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage key retail accounts across modern trade, general trade, departmental stores, and specialty retail channels to achieve business growth targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities through gap analysis, market trends, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize product mix, pricing strategies, promotions, and shelf visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to develop account-specific growth plans aligned with customer dynamics.
  • Plan and implement account-level promotions and in-store brand visibility initiatives.
  • Execute promotional activities, ensuring proper placement of POS materials and planogram compliance.
  • Plan and execute stock transitions for new product launches to ensure smooth market introduction.
  • Coordinate with retail partners to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and product availability.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers to support long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide timely feedback to support strategic adjustments.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure effective execution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales, preferably within supermarket, general trade, or departmental store channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), Power BI, and Business Central.
  • Hands-on experience in retail execution, distributor management, or managing modern trade accounts.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central is an added advantage.
