Job Summary
A regional sales role driving new customer acquisition and long-term partnerships across Asia within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new customer acquisition across assigned Asian markets to expand regional business presence
  • Manage and develop existing customer accounts to strengthen loyalty and long-term partnerships
  • Lead high-level commercial negotiations, technical discussions, and professional customer presentations
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and support regional market development initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with internal quality, regulatory, and product teams to ensure timely and effective fulfilment of customer requirements
  • Represent the company at regional exhibitions, industry events, customer audits, and key business meetings

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
  • Sound technical knowledge of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical raw materials, ingredients, or related products
  • Proven experience managing a balanced sales approach, with a focus on account development (approximately 70%) and new business acquisition (approximately 30%)
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with high professional, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly, confidently, and credibly to diverse audiences
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for senior-level customer engagements
  • Proficiency in English for liaising with English-speaking clients and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, independent working style with the ability to manage responsibilities across multiple regional markets
